Izzy & George - Puleeese!!!

I don't know about you, but this is foolish. Yes, we all like George and yes we know he thinks he made a mistake with Callie, but if I recall correctly, he was in love with Meredith from day one. Not once did he ever indicate that he liked Izzy. And one comment from him to Callie about Izzy being a "supermodel" who would never like him, is not enough! Do I hear a "Friends" anyone. Rachel never batted an eye at Ross until she found out he liked her, then she "saw the light." I really hope they don't waste good "Grey's" time with a story line of Izzy pining after George and "blurting out" to Callie about her mistep. Let us Pray!

Oh, I love Hector Elizondo. Of course, he hails from one of my favorite movies "Pretty Woman", so I am biased whenever he is onscreee, but he was great. Good Cameo. The guy from "Spin City" was also good, but that story line and Christina's reactions throughout were weird. The writers dropped the ball on that one.

Moving on to better things. I liked the Burke and Christina story line as well. There were spoilers about them not getting married and that may in fact happen, but I hope they do get married. I think though that Colin made a good point that Burke should know what Christina is like and what she can and can't do. So despite, Burke's desire to move forward and not go back, he needs to realize there are two people invovled each going at their own speed. He does not seem to get that. I mean really, how often are people in any relationship driving at the same speed...

Meredith and McDreamy. Pretty good. Their relationship and level of intimacy needs to grow and I am happy that a television show has decided to take a relationship past the boy likes girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl doe-see-doe (think square dance).

I just loved McSteamy. Mark just stole that whole show. His devilish smile just gets me everytime. What is it about him? He has this one side that wants to be with Addison and this other side that is always up for a good competition. And he does it with style. We should all strive for a little more style. (No, we should not strive to be conniving, manipulating, promiscuous people- I am picking and choosing his traits that I like, or at least the ones I will admit to admiring - you pick the ones you like).

Thoughts?

No!! I am the defending voice of Izzy - I love her! I love that she finally went for the nice guy! I love that she was surprised she was attracted to George! I love that she can't just have him!
Hector Elizondo rocks - waste of his talents - not enough of a role.
Cally is amazing - I love her too -

You can be the defender of Izzy, but what about her personality is attractive at this point. She has alienated people and despite her "making up" with George before they "made out", do you really get the sense that she has his best interest at heart? Do you get the sense that cares? I think she hooked up with him and and was offended that he didn't remember. She was only being nice to Callie because she felt guilty. I didn't get the sense that she likes George for any other reason than she can't have him. Perhaps this week we will see how she likes him and why.

I also live Hector Elizondo. I had heard that he is back for Addison's departure episodes but I am not sure if he is going to be on hte new show.

Callie is awesome, but I think she has not yet signed on for next season. Maybe Sara Ramirez, who hails from the New York theater stage would like more challenge in her role or misses her old stomping grounds. I hope she stays though. She is the only grounded character. She makes the other interns look unsteady and immature. I guess that is why we love them.
